Sharon McCone is back! ItÕs been awhile since I have read one of MullerÕs tales and was glad to see this one in a donation pile at the library.

Sharon is out at HyÕs ranch trying for some down time when the pressures of running here agency were creating a feeling of depression. The hoped for recovery was a hard time coming until she becomes involved in searching for the niece of Ramon, HyÕs caretaker at the ranch. The search leads to several generations of a dysfunctional family with several murders along the way, but once she is back Òin the huntÓ the depression slowly fades away and eventually she is ready to get back to life ( somewhat changed) at the agency. This is another principal character that I like and I am glad I came across it.
