M. C. Beaton - Death of a Dentist - Finished - 3/27/2009

My first exposure to Beaton's Hanish MacBeth and I found it to be similar to the Agatha Raisain book I finished before this. I wasn't taken with the writing style of either book and in this one the off again on again injections of "Scotch" accents often did not ring true, sounding more German/English to my "ears". The story line was ok but together with the style her books are not ones I will pick up while there are others waiting.
