LP Pages 831 Bennie Rosato finds herself defending a murder suspect, of a cop no less, and the suspect claims to be her twin. Now Bennie had no idea she had a twin or even a sister, but she decides to take the case over from the PD assigned to the case. Not easy as she had to battle the judge who wasn't cooperative. As Bennie gets more into the case, with only a week or so before the trial she is ambivalent about Alice Connolly and whether she is actually a long lost twin of running a con and Alice is not a very nice lady. Much back and forth, another murder and several attempts on Bennie and her associate keep things hopping. And there is more to the case than the murder, but you will have to find out what it is by reading the book, I ain't squealing.
