This one gets the whole NUMA gang together in the search for a rare mineral in the Arctic which acts as a catalyst in breaking down CO2 in a safe way to combat global warming They are being chased to the find by a "Bad Guy" billionaire who is on the surface a "Green" but is in reality a money grubber who is deep into oil and gas, bribery and murder to get what he wants. Due to his actions the US and Canada nearly come to blows. Lots of daring do, near escapes and the usual appearance of Mr. Cussler him self.
